At the end the 1975 a group of technicians of G.T.E. in Cassina Dè Pecchi, a company specialized in design and production of radio links for telecomunication (afterwards Siemens and Nokia Siemens Network), decided to establish an Amateur Radio Club dedicated to "Francesco Vecchiacchi" (Camporgiano 1902, Milano 1956) a famous italian engineer, professor in the Politecnico University of Milan and pioneer in the studies of electrical circuits and telecommunication networks.

In the immediate Moreno Dalla Mariga I2DKJ, Tonion I2TON e Angelo Vimercati I2VAM joined the group. Oneto Anselmo I2RZA was elected first president and the headquarter was established in Cassina Dé Pecchi  in a small house at the corner of via Matteotti and via Roma. On 26th November 1977 the committee decided to ask to become a local branch of Italian Radioamateurs Association A.R.I. and one year later the first shareholder's meeting held on 11 November 1978 elected the new committee. From that time the club changed several locations in Cernusco sul Naviglio and Pioltello, until on 6 june 2001 it moved to the current location in Cernusco sul Naviglio in the I.P.S.I.A. school "E. Majorana" and it took the name of "A.R.I. Cernusco sul Naviglio". Long time lapsed and also many famous people in the history of radiotechnical and radioamateur activity,  people with very high HAMSPIRIT. Some of these people, like Ing. Danilo Briani I2CN and Ing. Ernesto Viganò I2BEV both SK, honored us with their enrollment to our club.
